APPLICATION PROCEDURES &
Deadlines
The completed festival
application form must be sent to the Young
Pianist Competition of New Jersey (P.O. Box 3, Martinsville, NJ
08836) by April 1, 2010.
Application
deadline: April 1, 20
Late
applications will be accepted through May 15, 2010.
(If applying
late, please keep in mind that the festival might not be able to arrange the
same airfare and travel arrangements as the rest of the group.)
The festival application
must be accompanied by:
Application
fee (payable by a check or a money order), which should be made out to the
Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey.
(Please
indicate on the check or the money order that this is the application fee for
the Festival.)
Photocopy of
your Passport s Front Page, your Biography, and your photograph.
(The application
will be considered incomplete and will not be processed without this
information.)
On the
application, please specify which concerto you intend to study with the
orchestra.
(The concerto
must be chosen from the required repertoire.)
The full
tuition must be paid to the Young Pianist
Competition of New Jersey upon the receipt of the tuition invoice and
not later than June 15, 2010.

SCHOLARSHIP
AWARDS
Those 2010 prizewinners of the Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey
(any division) attending the 2010 Festival Musica in Laguna are eligible for
the Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey scholarship:
Gold
Prize $500.00 towards
tuition
Silver
Prize $375.00 towards
tuition
Bronze
Prize $250.00 towards tuition
ACCOMMODATIONS
(2010 costs are not available yet)
Those
students (not chaperoned by their parents) who travel with the American group,
mandatorily stay at the hotel listed below:
Those
students who are college-age and are not requiring any supervision can stay at
the Caldins Hotel. It is air
conditioned, and very reasonably priced.
It is also much closer to the school.
These
rates are only available if the hotel reservations are done through our office.
If you wish
to travel independently and want to make different arrangements, other
accommodations are available on the
Island, including an apartment rental.
If you are
