Requirements: One memorized piece or a group of short pieces, not to exceed four minutes, with exception for advanced repertoire. Pieces should be chosen from the original piano repertoire. Arrangements and/or simplifications or pieces from method books will not be permitted.

To register, please write, fax or e-mail only. We will not accept any dictation over the telephone.

Please include mandatory information, which should be typed or very clearly printed:

1.       Performer's name

2.       Performer's age

3.       Teacher's name

4.       Name of composition with Opus numbers, key, etc.

5.       Composer s full name

6.       Performance time

Entries without this information will not be considered.

Registration must be received 10 days prior to the recital date. Acceptance is based on priority of registration and available recital time.

Parents and students must remain for the duration of the recital (approximately one hour).

Those performers who are not dressed properly or come in sneakers will not be allowed to participate.

Please note that these program are only available to members of the Young Pianist Competition of New Jersey.
