All Divisions of this Competition will
have Gold, Silver and Bronze Winners. Judges reserve the right not to
award any prizes.
The Preliminary Round:
Contestants must submit a recording of
their ensemble on a properly labeled DVD. The recording
must be accompanied by a copy of the working score of the piece.
Recordings that are not labeled properly with the contestant s name, age,
composer, and the name of the ensemble work (no., key, op. etc.) will not be accepted.
Judges from the Preliminary Round will
make their selections of contestants for the Semi Final Round and for the
Recital Final Round.
Semi Final Round:
Contestants will perform in front of the judges
and an audience. Contestants must bring an original score and 2 extra
copies for the judges.
Judges from the Semi Final Round will
make their selections of contestants for the Recital Final Round.
Recital Final
Round: Contestants will perform in front
of the judges and an audience in a formal recital setting. Contestants
must bring an original score and one copy for the judges.
Judges will make their selections of the
winners, and the results will be announced immediately following the
Recital Final Round.
